I had a doctor's appointment today. Nothing serious. Mom and I had time to kill, so I ran out to the car and grabbed my camera (which I'm trying to start taking with me everywhere). I was telling mom about how a fish eye lens works.. glad I had my glasses with me!

I've been picking Danielle up from work this past week. I like to go a little early so I can get some reading time in. I like to read, but when I try to read at home, I always get distracted by something. I'm currently on the 5th Harry Potter book in the series.. with over 600 pages left to go.

I'm attempting to make a pot roast today.. I really hope I don't screw it up. I mean, how hard can it be? Now I get to sit here in the house all day with my mouth watering as the aroma of awesomeness fills the house :/

I had to mow. I don't like mowing my yard. It takes forever.. and I procrastinate, so it's like mowing a jungle. Just sayin'.

I was just a little tired. Never waiting that long to mow again.

I love my house. I may not have nice or matching things.. but that's not me. Danielle and I like to show our creativity wherever we can find room for it!

Meet Baby Jack! Here he is, a few hours old, holding his very first light saber from Daddy. He's already changed so much in the past few days, and I can't wait to go over this afternoon to take some pictures of him and big sister!

Lily getting some Daddy time in, a night or two before little brother was to make his big appearance. I believe she was drumming on the table with a couple light sabers, while Chris was teaching her about Yoda, Obi Won, Luke, Vader.. She can now tell you who is who.

So, I haven't kept up with the whole "Picture-A-Day" thing like I wanted, but I've been a little busy. We've had alot of excitement around here, between Danielle getting an awesome job (woohoo!) and getting the pool closed down for the summer, school starting.. oh, and the arrival of my nephew, Baby Jack! So I'll go ahead and post a couple of photos now, and *try to keep up again.

Every summer at the pool I always try to get a few good pictures of the boys doing tricks off the board. Luckily they're always eager to show off! Here's Austin in mid-backflip.

Last night we had an awesome storm.. but with that awesome storm came no internet service. So I'm posting yesterday's and today's picture now. The storm had some incredible lightning, and I was lucky enough to get a picture. I took this while crouching on my porch, trying to stay as close to the house as possible. My heart was pounding like crazy because the lightning was so close.

It's laundry night here at the house. Our washer likes to try to blast off sometimes, so Danielle and I alternate turns in holding it down. I remember my mom having me sit on the washer as a kid, when it would start to shake.
